Corinne Morrison-Morton

“Creativity is my nature.

Knitting, quilting, spinning fiber, anything to do with wool, cloth and fiber,

but of all, KNITTING is my primary love.”

Corinne was born in Montague, PEI and raised in Lachine, Quebec.  Together with her husband Billy, they raised three children.  After retiring from Nortel as a senior Buyer, she and her husband returned to her roots in beautiful PEI.

At an early age, Corinne was taught knitting and was hooked right from the beginning.

Spinning fiber into yarn has become a new hobby and I can just as easily get lost in the spinning world as well as the quilting or knitting world.

Corinne knits texting mittens, thrummed mitten, lacy cowls and socks.  Her love for her work shows in the exquisite products she creates.

Her Latvian Mittens are quite special, in that they never have a thumb gusset.  The cuff is usually very colorful and needles used are very small, so lots of stitches.  They take forever to knit, but I love the challenge.
